If God were a typist

He would, in His infinite wisdom, use this keyboard. The Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 is the single-greatest keyboard I have ever used. It has a split keyboard (all wavy-like to be comfortable on your wrists). It also has shortcut buttons for homepage, email, search, volume control, play/pause, calculator and 5 “favourites”, as well as a back and a forward button (probably for internet navigation).

The real kicker is the zoom slider which zooms in and out of documents at the nudge of a finger.

Yes, maybe God is a typist and that’s why we have this now.

If this zoom button is so great, why doesn't it work?

I also kinda miss the clackety noises of the old keyboard.

It works for Word, Excel, mail messgaes, some web pages. To be honest, if you're not using MS Office, it's probably not much use, but it means that I can use my laptop monitor just as happily as I use the other display. This makes it easy to multitask.

mfvres: microsoft's fully-vaunted regalia excites some.

Woah...WOAH! Am I to understand that Liam is happy about a keyboard...that ISN'T noisy and clackety? Great. Just great. Oh, look, the sky is falling.

I miss clackety, but there's just something about this keyboard. It's like typing whispers into the wind.

xcfaz: x-clude clackety for a zoom

Who smeared this quiet keyboard with crack? That's the question that needs to be answered!
